In past years at LSMF, we prioritized allowing owners to park with friends, clubs, and crews. While that created a great community atmosphere, it came at the expense of a more competitive, higher quality car show.
This year, we're raising the standard. To ensure a more efficient, fair, and focused judging process, we’re implementing the following changes:
The show will be limited to 100 vehicles.
All show vehicles will be parked by class and compete for 1st and 2nd place.
For this show we consider Classic MOPAR anything Pre-1979.
A panel of judges will evaulate each car in the class.
The average score of those judges will be the vehicle's final score and will determine placement within the class.
We believe this method reduces bias from any one judge, encourages thorough, well-rounded evaluations, and creates a more transparent and balanced results process.
A recusal policy will be in place for judges with any conflicts of interest.
We believe this system helps us deliver a show that’s not just fun, but judged with integrity and respect, while honoring the passion and pride of every builder who enters.
The Competition Classes:
Charger/Challenger/300/Magnum *
Highly Modified Charger/Challenger/300/Magnum **
Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator/RAM Truck/SUV *
Highly Modified Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator/RAM Truck/SUV **
Themed Vehicle ***
Classic MOPAR (Pre-1979)
* Incorrect class entries may result in disqualification at the show committee's discretion. No reassignments will be made day-of.
** A highly modified vehicle shows significant work across multiple areas: mechanicals, under hood, interior, exterior, or trunk.
*** Theme should carry to several parts of the vehicle: under hood, interior, exterior, trunk, show board, props, costume, etc.
Does your build have what it takes?
